The mission of the Community Mediation Center is to help individuals and organizations resolve conflict, improve relationships and strengthen community.

Your community mediation center

The Community Mediation Center was incorporated in 1998 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our staff consists of an Executive Director, one program manager, and a Program Capacity Coordinator. The CMC also has two contract employees, including a development consultant, two AmeriCorps/VISTA volunteers, and approximately 45 volunteer mediators. We provide a safe, non-adversarial process for people to resolve their disputes quickly, confidentially and inexpensively.

  • Training on conflict resolution skills
  • Quality Housing / Lanlord-Tenant

Referral sources for the Center include local courts, law enforcement, schools, government agencies, business and consumer organizations, schools, neighborhood and civic groups, human service organizations and churches.
